Causes of Stress: Everyone Else Many people have many different causes of stress. But here are the biggest ones...
Death of a family member/relative.
For many people, family is what provides their happiness. But when someone from their family passes away, that one source of happiness now becomes a killer cause of stress. Not just the death of that person, but everything else that follows with it. Coping without him/her, the bills, the funeral, the list goes on! Work Ah, the age old problem. Getting up in the morning and going to work. Fairly simple process, but very much stressful. Things like deadlines, meetings, living up to your boss's expectations, and many more things in the workplace make people very anxious and worried. In a way, people also feel their freedom is lost when they are crammed with office work. And speaking of freedom...
Family Stress.
Oh, this is a big one. Taking care of your family, the expenses, the arguments... they all contribute to a great deal of stress.
Finance
With this economy, the stress just mounts up. The bills, the mortgage, the liabilities- all these are money matters. And they all cause great levels of stress for many people. Retirement Another "money and economy" matter. Retirement is a very stressful time for many people. It involves a lot of planning, time, and money. And not everyone has all three of these "retiring essentials". Major Purchases A house, a car, something "big". Once again, money is involved. Lot's of it. Planning is involved. It's starting to sound like retirement, isn't it? But hey facts are facts. Environment Change Sure. When your surroundings change, the people and things you are now gone. It could be a hard transition, which may lead to stress.
Being a Parent
Hey, is it easy being a parent? No. And that means stress. When you're a parent, your kids stress you out, along with many other things! Death of a spouse This one is similar to the death of a family member. If someone you love dies, then you'll obviously be depressed. It's a natural tendency of a human being. Your Company Now I don't mean a company as in a business. I mean the people that surround you. If people around are always negative and not trying to bring the best out of you, then you'll obviously reflect that. As you can, the following causes of stress are derived from a variety of sources in your life. At work, at home, in your own life- you can "catch stress" practically anywhere. Remember, this list doesn't cover all the causes of stress. Some people have their own sources, and some have exclusively their own. Where Do You Fall? So where do you fit in? In other words, based on the causes above, do you share a few? Maybe you do. If so, there's no need to worry.
