Sadness is one of the most common symptoms of stress. After all, who's happy when they're stressed? No one. So when you think you're stressed, the first symptom to check for is your overall happiness. Forget all the other symptoms for now. They are just "add-ons". Here's a simple rule... You see, when you're stressed, you have a lot of “things“ going through your mind. And what does that mean? Well, your mind isn't feeling at peace. You are not comfortable constantly worrying about things.And what does mean? It means you can't enjoy doing the things you love, because your mind is always preoccupied by stress. And if you can't do the things you love with comfort and freedom, what happens? You guessed it; you are not happy! As you can see, that is the stress and happiness "series-of-events". It eventually leads to you feeling sad, not ready to do anything to the best of your ability. Happiness and Stress: Here’s What I Do Like I said before, when you think you’re feeling stressed, the first thing to check for is “are you happy”. Mind if I share a little inside tip with you? You see, when I’m feeling stressed, I always do that first check. Once I find out I’m not happy, that’s where I stop what ever I’m doing. You see, most people don’t do that. Believe it or not, they continue doing whatever they were doing in their already miserable mood. When you’re stressed out, your mind needs a break. Since many people just continue whatever they were doing, where’s the break? They need to either solve the problem, or stop the problem from getting worse. Here’s my little tip Stop what you’re doing. I normally step outside to get some
fresh air
, while listening to
music
that makes me happy. You can either do the same, or you can deal with stress using the practical and easy
tips and techniques.
Why do I listen to music and get fresh air? For me, it’s the easiest to do. So why not give it a try? I mean do both at once. It really helps. Take-home Lesson? Good job!
