How?

Plan your budget beforehand. So, what's so important about planning before the holiday starts?

How exactly should you plan your budget? And most importantly, how will this relieve your holiday stress?

Well, all of those questions will be answered shortly. You see, the holiday season is supposed to be enjoyed, so don't let money get in the way of your happiness!

Ready to begin? Let's go!

Holiday Stress Relief: Before, Not After!

So, what's a big problem during the holiday season? The crazy spending, of course. Here's what you should do...

Plan your budget beforehand.

Why is this so important?

Well, it takes a lot of pressure off of your shoulders, and it decreases your chances of overspending.

Here's what may happen if you don't plan out your budget. Imagine...

It's the peak of the holiday season. So what do you do? You walk into a store to start buying gifts and presents.

You are more likely to spend too much.

Why?

You're buying on impulse! You are buying when the holiday spirit is alive! This means you'll be swayed into buying more things than usual.

Why? If you haven't planned out a budget, and you just walk into a store, isn't it tempting to buy a lot?

Of course it is.

You walk into a store not having a clue of how much you'll spend. And to top it off, it's the holiday season. Obviously you would overspend your money!

Bottom-line?.

Before the holiday season even starts, have a budget written out. It will guide you into buying only the right amount and not overspending.

It won't tempt you to buy more than what you planned for. Well, it sounds simple, but how exactly should you budget?

Holiday Stress Relief: Money Is a Problem!

Great, you know why it's important to plan your budget beforehand! But how exactly should you create one?

Obviously, money puts a lot of pressure on you (me too). So, when budgeting, don't follow the "typical advice".

What do I mean by that?

Don't go for the cheaper products just to save money. Instead, buy products that can be used over and over again.

Hmm?

Ok. Can you use a box of chocolates over and over again? No, because once you eat it, it's gone. And so is your money.

Instead, buy something that lasts. A keychain, a watch, a little gadget, a movie (i.e. DVD), you know something like that.

And you know what will happen?

You'll end up saving a lot more money. Why? Because all of those extra chocolates and candies will be cut down a notch (you don't have to completely buying them- even I can't do that!).

So focus on the real stuff. You'll find holiday stress relief faster than you think!

Take-home Lesson?

Great! You've learned how to achieve holiday stress relief by "budgeting" before the holiday season even begins.

You'll spend less, and be stress-free of course! Hey; why don't you share this tip with your family?
