Like I said earlier, cutting back on parties and food means you're carving a chunk of your holiday away. To have a stress-free holiday, you need to start taking action before it starts.

Perhaps a couple weeks or so. This way, you can keep your holidays uninterrupted and enjoy it to the fullest!

So what exactly should you do?

Well, food is a concern. You may be afraid of gaining weight because of all that delicious food. So, a couple weeks prior to your holiday season, exercise well.

You know, have a jog around the block everyday, just to get your metabolism going.

"Prepare" your body for whatever food you plan to eat.

Ok. But what if it's not food that stresses you out? Let's say you're on a really tight budget, and you're stressed out about spending too much money.

Plan your budget beforehand.

Well, when's the best time to buy gifts for the holidays? Before it starts, of course.

If you buy gifts during your holidays, you'll have a stronger urge to spend more money. Why?

Because it's the holidays! You'll get caught in the moment, and buy your way into stress! It happens to me; don't let it happen to you.

So, plan exactly how much money you'll spend and stick to it.

Want another "high yield" way to deal with holiday stress?

Learn to say "no".

You probably get invited to many holiday events, right? Right. But you don't want to go to all of them.

If you do go to all the events you're invited to, it'll mess your whole schedule up! Or what if you truly don't want to go? Then it'll be uncomfortable.

You don't want to be uncomfortable during the holidays, do you? Right, so learn to say no.

It's The Holidays! Forget Money!

Don't you feel that the more expensive your gift is, the more the other person will like it?

Hey, the holiday season isn't a contest to see who can spend the most money! It's about who can give the most love.

So make that your top priority. I know you've heard that "love is more important than money" a million times before, but it makes the most sense during the holiday season.

So, any fun being cut back here? No. Hey, I'm not like those "low yield" people out there. Have fun, party, eat to your heart's content (as long as you exercise before!).
