Positive Stress

How?

Well, that's what you're about to find out today. So the next time you get stressed out, it could actually be benefiting you!

Stress has such a bad reputation with us - with me too! So don't worry, you're not the only one who thinks of stress that way.

I think I've said enough...ready to begin? Let's go!

Positive Effects of Stress!

Before I get into the hardcore facts, I'll cover some more obvious benefits of stress.

It Can Save Your Life!

Stress doesn't have to be a slow process. For example, bills may stress you out over a long period of time. But stress can also happen in an instant.

If you are face-to-face with a lion, that causes instant stress. And that's how stress can save your life.

If you're about to be hit by car, heck, even if you're standing face-to-face with a lion, the stress can save your life.

How?

Stress makes you react. It makes you move. You can safely dodge the car, or you can run away from the lion.

If you weren't stressed out in the above situations, you'd be dead! Not to scare you or anything, but facts are facts.

You Get Things Done!

Ok. Let's say you're stressed out about an office project. You've been procrastinating, and you're down to the last day.

Are you stressed?

Yes. So it makes you work harder and faster. Until you finish. Why? Stress gives you something to worry about.

It gives you something to accomplish. It makes you care. If you weren't stressed out, you wouldn't finish the project. You wouldn't care about it.

See the benefit? It makes you get things done.

You're Alert!

Stress keeps you on your toes. It keeps you alert and ready at all times. How is this a good thing?

Alertness is important in the workplace, at home, and in life itself. You need to be alert to know what's happening around you.

You wouldn't want to be taken by surprise, would you? For example, if you're talking money matters with the bank or a real estate agent, you need to be on top.

You need to be alert and ready. Why? You wouldn't want to sign a deal or contract without knowing all the conditions and terms, right?

What if you're getting "ripped off"? Stress saves the day once again.

Without Stress, Who Can Survive?

Without stress, our lives would be so boring.

Stress helps keep the economy going! All the political, social, economical and related matters wouldn't exist without stress. Why?

Well, stress helps us get things done, right? Right. Without stress, no one would care. Everyone would live dull and boring lives.

No one would care about money, politics, or anything else that makes our lives interesting.
