What else does "new" mean?

New professors and surroundings can be intimidating.

You enter a gigantic building for the first time in your life. Wow! That's definitely an intimidating feeling. A stressful one, too.

The same goes with new professors. Who knows how they teach? Maybe they're good, or maybe they're horrible! Again, that's a very stressful and uncomfortable feeling.

Hmm...what else?

New friends. This one may be exciting, who knows? Or maybe you have trouble finding the right friends. Oh, that can always be overwhelming.

Maybe your "friends" don't share the same interests as you? It can get quite stressful when you have no one to approach.

New expectations.

This is probably the biggest one yet. In college, all the expectations change. You have more deadlines, more tests, and more work over all. And this ties in with new work/books.

Obviously, stressing about work is nothing new, right? Yep, it's the "school effect". But in college it gets harder, and that's why you get stressed out.

So, all of those "new" things leaves you with a new life. Talk about a change!
