It will make you look at your stressor (the thing that stresses you out) in a very calm and smooth manner. It will make your stressor seem like "no big deal". How does this help? Before you leave home from work, your boss or colleague reminds you to do it. "Hey, remember to finish all of those files by tomorrow". You reply, "Files? What files? You still have to do the files, but you're making it seem like it's "no big deal". Bottom-line? It makes your brain concentrate on the job, not the stress of the job.
